ANDROS DEEP SEA FISHING From this map of Andros, you can see how close to shore is the deep, deep "Tongue of the Ocean" (it's the dark blue part) There are a few operators that do deep sea fishing charters: SMALL HOPE LODGE $350 half-day; $500 full day Boat holds maximum four plus guide. Gear included to fish for: kingfish, wahoo, barracuda, yellow-fin tuna, dolphin, etc. Half days 8-12 and 1-5; Full days 8-4. Packed lunch included for SHB guests. Deep Sea Fly fishing: November, December, February, March, April. KAMALAME CAY Reef and light tackle offshore fishing is available at Kamalame Cay in one of the lodges’ 24-ft Pathfinder center console V-hull boats powered by 200hp Yamaha motors. Seasonally, anglers can expect to target dorado, wahoo, king mackerel, tuna and grouper all within sight of the lodge. The guides and captains at Kamalame are well versed in both fly and conventional tackle.
