ACKLINS CROOKED ISLAND DIVING THUNDERBIRD ENTERPRISES Pittstown Point Gibson, affectionately called 'thunderbird' by his friends, is a native Crooked Islander. At an early age he developed the love for boating and fishing. Coming from a llineage of boatbuilders and seafaring men, he competed with his siblings as to who would catch the most fish. He spent a few of his early years residing at Bird Rock Lighthouse with his uncle, Ulric, who was the lighthouse keeper for many years.
